Ceilidh comments
We are the Rack and Ruin Ceilidh band – we are based in Warwickshire but we play over a much wider area. Here’s what some of our barn dance and ceilidh clients had to say:
Charis & I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all you did for us on our wedding night! You and your band were amazing and it was so great to have you play for us. Everyone absolutely loved it, even those that were watching too 😉
Callum & Charis
“Mick and the boys really made the evening of our wedding [we were playing with Ralph Allin on fiddle and not with Jen and Deb obviously]. The music was brilliant and they tailored the calling and dances for a mixed crowd of ceilidh veterans to first timers. Friendly, funny and engaging, everyone had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking them again for any other function – thanks again for a great evening!!”
Andy Hambly
“Had a great time and the band was just incredible, well done guys!”
A Walker
“We wanted to thank you for coming to Dumbleton and putting on a wonderful ceilidh for out wedding. The dancing was great fun and everyone really enjoyed your music.
We were impressed by your professional approach, the quality of the music and your song choices. The ceilidh was pitched just right and accessible to all. Thank you.
Fiona and Ed.
“A big thank you to you and the rest of the band for a cracking night last saturday at our party on our farm. Everyone enjoyed themselves hugely.
Will recommend you to anyone wanting a barn dance”
Steve and Kate.
“We just wanted to say the most enormous thank you…you were everything we had hoped for and more, and…everyone who came to our party…has been raving about how marvellous you were.” S Andersom
“Thanks for making my 40th party one to remember. Everyone who went said what a good time they had and how enjoyable you were. I actually think I could count on one hand who didn’t get up to dance!!” B Hargadon
“Magic gig by Rack and Ruin more like that next year – worth coming from Wigan for…” B Row
“A big thank you to the band. Everyone has said how much they enjoyed themselves and how good you all were. It was a great night, and a brilliant celebration for us.” Maureen & Roger Taylor
“Everyone of all ages remarked what an excellent night they had and thought you were a very accomplished band. Once again many thanks for a really good evening.” E Tibble
