Mick Bisiker’s Rack and Ruin Ceilidh Band – available for a wedding, party or any kind of celebration
West Midlands based Rack and Ruin Ceilidh Band play lively jigs and reels mixed with upbeat, traditional, folk instrumental music and contemporary, original folk-rock songs.

Plus you get an experienced caller to guide you through the ceilidh dances – you don’t need to have had experience of this kind of dancing before.  We like to get people dancing and having fun.

Our ceilidh band could be the just the thing if you are looking for “something different” for a party!

For parties, weddings, barn dances or any other type of ceilidh Rack and Ruin will usually play 2 sets of 45-60 mins of dances – during the sets we may also play songs or instrumentals between dances if your guests need a chance to get their breath back!

We can also play-out through the PA your own playlist (on phone, iPad etc) for the moments when we are not playing – before the dance starts and also after the ceilidh dancing has ended. There may be an additional charge for this.  Ask for more details.

Rack and Ruin are currently taking bookings throughout 2024 and beyond.
Although our ceilidh band is based in Warwickshire we sometimes play further afield  – for more information call Mick on 07582 348817.

Rack and Ruin will supply our own professional PA system and stage lights. You will need to allow sufficient time at your event’s venue for us to set up  lighting and audio equipment and soundcheck.
We work very hard to fit in with your event’s schedule with minimal disruption so talk to us beforehand about the details and timings of your event.

We have public liability insurance cover of £5 million.
